About the role Western District Health Service (WDHS) seeks a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to lead the establishment and management of a new, pivotal unit - The Clinical Access and Resource Unit (CARU). The CARU Operations Manager will have the unique opportunity to shape this innovative unit from the ground up, playing a critical role in optimising patient access, streamlining resource management, and enhancing care transitions across acute, subacute, and aged care settings. This position offers a chance to lead transformative change within WDHS, setting new standards for efficiency and quality in healthcare service delivery. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of creating a cohesive and integrated approach to bed management, staffing, and resource allocation. This position will be responsible for the management and recruitment of team members to support the core functions of the Clinical Access and Resource Unit.
