No Offer Description Institute of Health and Wellbeing - Gippsland Campus Full-time, continuing appointment Academic Level B - $108,257 p.a. plus up to 17% superannuation About the role As the Clinical Placement Coordinator and Lecturer, Physiotherapy, you will collaborate with clinical affiliates, students, allied health faculty, and school administration to ensure clinical placements support students to meet expected learning outcomes. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of physiotherapy courses in addition to the administrative functions of the institute. Your Responsibilities: Conduct orientation sessions and ensure students complete clinical orientation requirements. Provide support for on-site clinical educators working with students whilst on placement. Conduct clinical site visits to assess appropriateness of clinical activities and students' clinical practice experiences. Monitor students' progress in developing and performing skills in a clinical setting. About you As well as extensive work experience in Physiotherapy, you will have the ability to maintain confidential information and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a timely manner. You will have the capacity to work independently as well as in a team setting and the ability to relate well to students and other University staff. Required Qualifications: Previous experience in academic administration. Demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and a good teaching record. Evidence of research expertise and a demonstrated capacity and preparedness to achieve an active research profile in the field of Physiotherapy.
