Cloud Infrastructure and Technical Systems Manager Reporting to the Director – IT Operations & Cyber Security, this role is responsible for delivering cloud and infrastructure platform, and technical systems services from idea to production transition for business projects and IT initiatives covering; AWS, Azure, operating systems, storage, database, CI/CD, source code management, Identity and access management, domain management, DHCP, AD/Azure AD, relevant software licensing compliance and reporting, collaboration and productivity (O365), Power Apps.
Oversee all cloud and infrastructure platform technologies, including estimation, solution design, implementation, security, and configuration, ensuring smooth production transitions to Managed Service Providers.
Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring third-party agreements and project deliveries meet agreed service levels and timeframes.
Lead and mentor team members, manage budgets, and provide input into financial forecasts, fostering a results-oriented culture and supporting career development.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and third-party partners to manage IT priorities, project activities, and initiatives, contributing to the overall IT strategy and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain technical strategies and architectures for cloud, infrastructure, and technical systems, establish relevant standards and processes, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and evaluating safe work practices, addressing reported hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety and Cyber Safety training.
About you Proven experience in a similar IT leadership role Demonstrated understanding of technological trends and developments across a broad range of areas in information technology.
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes Understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum) Demonstrated ability to frame security and risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
