Our client is seeking a talented CMDB Manager to join their dynamic team and drive the enhancement and maintenance of their Service Now Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
As the CMDB Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the Service Now platform.
You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the CMDB, ensuring it aligns with the organization's business objectives and supports the delivery of high-quality IT services.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies for the enhancement and maintenance of the Service Now CMDB.
Define and enforce CMDB policies, standards, and processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and establish CMDB configurations that meet business needs.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and rectify data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote CMDB best practices and foster a culture of data governance.
Provide leadership and guidance to CMDB administrators and support staff.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to CMDB management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in managing and maintaining the Service Now CMDB, preferably within a large enterprise environment.
In-depth knowledge of CMDB concepts, principles, and best practices.
Strong understanding of ITIL framework and its application to CMDB management.
Experience with Service Now Discovery and other relevant Service Now modules.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist) preferred.
