Position: Mazak CNC Setter-Operator Working Hours: 8.00 - 4.30 Mon to Thurs, 8.00 - 2.30 Fri REF NUMBER: 251 Great opportunity to join a large Engineering company.
This well-established Global engineering business manufactures a range of machinery for the Cement, Mining, and Mineral industries.
They need experienced Mazak CNC Setters-Operators.
The positions involve the use of the latest high-end Mazak CNC machinery.
The work is mainly large, heavy, and precise.
So your understanding of safe lifting and how to accurately use measuring equipment will be a strong advantage.
This company is looking for experienced machinists with a proven track record of high-quality machining, who enjoy working in a busy workshop with many large CNC machines.
Reporting to the Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Reading technical drawings Following work instructions Adjusting programs Safely operating high-end CNC machinery Inspection of parts Keeping your work area and machine clean TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: Trade qualifications High attention to detail Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Mazak CNC Experience Ability to machine large jobbing components Great opportunity for driven individuals who are looking for a long-term and rewarding role with a strong stable company.
