As a Psychologist at Haileybury City Campus, you will play a pivotal role in addressing the psychological needs of our students.
This is a Part Time Position required to be on campus during term time, starting from 22 January 2025 or by negotiation for the right candidate. Responsibilities Working collaboratively as a member of the team of psychologists at Haileybury to implement a whole school approach to student wellbeing that builds resilience and connectedness and identifies opportunities for proactive and preventative programs Providing and maintaining student wellbeing service delivery including counselling and assisting with staff professional development relating to student wellbeing where applicable Conducting individual case management using a systems approach and referring on to outside providers as necessary Attending parent/teacher meetings and Pastoral Care meetings as required Facilitating programs accessible to the broader school community Working collaboratively in the assessment of students and submissions for funding and special provisions Working with parents, teachers and external professionals to implement learning recommendations.
Skills & Experience Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders using excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care using a client-centred approach Strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications and the ability to interpret data and write reports Strong commitment to confidentiality and maintaining privacy of all students intact Ability to manage pastoral issues through effective dialogue and process.
Experience of working with children from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse background Previous experience working at a school.
Accredited Master's Degree in Psychology Psychologist registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency).
