Job title: Commercial Manager - Procurement & Contracts Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (Hybrid) TGRC are working with a leading international energy company as they look to add to their Commercial team through the appointment of a Contracts & Procurement Manager.
This person will join a fast-growing and highly motivated business that is making leaps and bounds in support of the energy transition.
You will play an integral role in the successful delivery of high-value and highly complex contracts, with the support of both local and global teams.
Your role: Develop procurement and related contractual management methods, processes and reporting systems to enable efficient and diligent contract management of main and subcontracts.
Participate in negotiations with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers etc.
at the tendering and execution phases Actively support the execution of main contracts, subcontracts, and supply contracts during the execution phase, ensuring all risks are managed and all contractual obligations are fulfilled Participate in claims and dispute resolution as may be needed Your profile: 10+ years experience in commercial roles with a strong bias across procurement and contract management.
Experience managing high-value and highly complex contracts, with a strong preference for energy, infrastructure or mining/industrial sectors A genuine love of contract management and a desire to deliver successful projects in line with time, cost and quality A self-starter who works well in a team Exposure to disputes and claims is beneficial This will be a busy but rewarding role and an opportunity to be part of some great projects that will positively affect decarbonisation efforts in Australia.
