The Corporate Finance team sits within BB and leads complex event-driven and transformational opportunities for mid-market customers in diversified industries with both private and public companies. Corporate Finance deals usually involve lending requirements of $50m to $500m, and the team supports & partners with a diverse range of businesses across Australia. Do work that matters Reporting to the Executive Director Corporate Finance, you will be responsible for originating and executing the largest and most complex transactions in Major Client Group (MCG). You will work closely with the MCG relationship teams nationally to identify transaction opportunities with existing clients, as well as within the M&A advisory market. The role has accountability for delivering on revenue and balance sheet growth targets while managing the risk profile of clients. More specifically you will Support MCG network to identify and originate event-driven finance transactions from within MCG client base. Generate and present potential ideas to clients, or determine internal growth opportunities for MCG. Ownership of transaction execution including deal structuring, process management, documentation, and selected post-deal management. Build relationships with key clients and external stakeholders including referral sources. We want to hear from you if you have Significant experience in client leadership roles with a major commercial or investment bank. A background in Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, or Corporate Advisory with a strong understanding of credit risk & execution experience. Strong sales leadership capability and the ability to originate transaction opportunities. Successful track record of building and leveraging effective relationships with senior client executives. Post Graduate qualifications in Business/Finance, CFA, MBA, or Masters Finance. Accounting qualifications CPA, CA.
