The Victorian Government established the Labour Hire Authority (LHA) to introduce a licensing system to regulate the provision of labour hire services across Victoria.
LHA undertakes a range of licensing, compliance and enforcement activities, maintains public registers and conducts research and education in accordance with the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 (Vic) (Act).
About the role The Communications and Engagement Branch supports LHA's mission by planning, developing, and delivering a range of communications and engagement activities to LHA stakeholders.
The team works closely with senior LHA staff and a range of stakeholder-facing teams to provide an integrated, organisation-wide communications and engagement service.
A capable and precise written communicator with a strong understanding of strategic communications principles, the Communications Lead writes and edits content for a range of audiences and channels.
This role also provides high-level advice and support to the Manager and other senior staff.
As well as directly producing content, the Communications Lead coordinates the work of a small team, managing two staff to develop high-quality outputs for stakeholder materials, media, digital and campaigns.
The role also develops and contributes to a range of communications and digital plans and strategies.
This role has a flexible work location with an option of Melbourne CBD or Bendigo.
