Position Description: Community Engagement Manager Role Title: Community Engagement Manager Location: Victoria, Australia Reports to: National Partnership & Growth Manager Job Type: Full-time About Us: We are a leading organisation in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Victoria, Australia.
Our mission is to empower people with disabilities to live their best lives by providing innovative and person-centered support.
Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Community Engagement Manager to lead our community engagement initiatives in Victoria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build relationships, raise awareness, and promote inclusion and accessibility within the community.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a community engagement strategy to achieve organisational objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with local community groups, organisations, and stakeholders Develop and deliver community engagement programs, events, and initiatives to promote inclusion and accessibility Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community engagement activities align with organisational goals Identify and pursue opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorships Manage budgets, reports, and performance metrics to measure success Ensure compliance with NDIS regulations, policies, and procedures Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Sciences, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in community engagement, community development, or a related field Proven track record of success in developing and implementing community engagement strategies Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills Strong understanding of the NDIS and the disability sector Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Experience working with people with disabilities or in the health and social services sector (desirable) Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Community Development, Social Sciences, or a related field Experience working in Victoria's disability services market Knowledge of local community networks and organisations What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work with a leading organisation in the NDIS Collaborative and dynamic work environment Professional development and growth opportunities Flexible work arrangements How to Apply: If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role, please submit your application, including your resume and cover letter, to (insert contact details).
