Key Position Tasks:
The Master Builders Training Institute team are seeking a Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager to join our team to assist with the implementation of regulatory and legislative changes for MBV's training institute. This is a full-time fixed term 12-month parental leave cover position. Key tasks will include:
Ensure overall compliance of the RTO with all relevant external bodies - including contract requirements, quality assurance, accreditation and legislative requirements
Develop, implement and review RTO policies and procedures to ensure best practice and quality service delivery, and to meet compliance requirements
Manage internal / external audits and reviews to ensure the RTO complies with the Standards for RTOs and all funding contract obligations across operations
Develop and maintain an RTO quality and risk management framework, compliant with relevant authorities and peak bodies, and in line with overall MBV risk management framework
Key Skills, Attributes and Experience:
Understanding of the VET training sector, Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (NVR) standards and Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) regulatory and compliance requirements
Highly developed understanding of current training packages
Minimum 5 years' experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), ideally 2+ years in a coordinator or team leader role in compliance
Desired – Degree in Education and/or Training or current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and experience working with VETtrak software
