Coordinator – Supported Independent Living About Scope Scope's purpose is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.
We support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities to achieve their goals.
Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.
Full time permanent position 76 hours per fortnight; Monday to Friday This residence is a 5-bed home About the role: Be an advocate for the development of good working relationships with the people we support Strong communication is critical in building rapport and trusted stakeholder relationships, including family members, external support professionals, and fellow staff members at Scope Confidence in providing direct training and guidance to staff members with positive behaviour support and implementation of behaviour support plans A strong background and understanding of behaviour of concerns and mental wellness is essential.
Support the values and actions that are important to the successful operation of Scope's business, the purpose and vision Facilitate change and drive continuous service improvement To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain: Valid Drivers Licence NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee) Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years At Scope, we pride ourselves on collaborating with our people.
