Data Support Analyst (Excel Specialist)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Support Analyst with profound expertise in Excel to join our dynamic team.
As a Data Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing data to support decision-making processes within the organization.
Your proficiency in Excel will be pivotal in ensuring data accuracy, creating insightful reports, and providing actionable insights to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Utilize advanced Excel functions (such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Develop and maintain Excel-based tools and templates for data collection, validation, and reporting purposes.
Cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Generate reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights and visualizations to support business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency in data handling and reporting.
Train and mentor team members on Excel best practices and data analysis techniques.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven track record as a Data Support Analyst or similar role, with at least 1 year of experience in utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Expertise in Excel functions and formulas, with the ability to manipulate and analyze complex datasets.
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience in creating visualizations and reports using Excel.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
