Primary Location VIC - Melbourne Job Description Summary Rev Up Your Career: Join Service Stream as a Delivery Lead! About the Role We have an opportunity available for a Delivery Lead to join our corporate division.
This will be offered as a permanent, full-time position based at our office in Collins Street, Melbourne.
The primary purpose of the Delivery Lead role is to undertake planning and execution of all projects and continual delivery work within an agile team(s) in the Field Solutions Team.
Responsibilities: Planning and execution of all projects, features, continuous delivery items and support fixes using an agile cadence.
Experience in leading Agile delivery squads with best industry practices.
Ensure 'right fit' processes and governance are applied to all projects and continuous delivery.
Working with Strategy and Change, Systems and Process manager and Portfolio Delivery Manager to provide effective demand planning and prioritisation of pipeline initiatives ensuring timely delivery through effective resource planning.
Effective mobilisation of all new projects and initiatives, involving portfolio applications while working with other agile teams to ensure coordinated delivery and deployment.
Effective and timely reporting of progress on all projects and initiatives.
Drive continual improvement of delivery processes to improve efficiencies of both time and costs, effective management of risks and improve the predictability of outcomes.
Execute effective resource plans to allow the team to expand and contract over time to meet demand and align with budgets.
Balance the use of contractors and 3rd party vendors with full-time staff contracts to optimise costs.
Work collaboratively with other agile teams to optimise the use of resources and plan work that cross-portfolio teams.
Use of agile productivity tools, e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.
Drive agile cadence within delivery team by organising sprint planning, backlog refinement workshops, and work with teams to size stories, plan and prioritise work for the time boxed sprint based on available capacity, daily stand ups, mid sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Manage project and continuous delivery work in Jira using sprint and kanban boards, creation of epics and stories, create dashboards, filters and reports for monitoring and reporting.
Monitor progress of work in sprints, limit work in progress and facilitate to remove impediments/blockers for the team.
Effective collaboration in Jira, review and closely monitor teams' comments in Jira stories to track the progress of work, ensure stories are up to date to reflect correct status, flagged for any dependency, assigned to right resource.
Review and approve team's timesheet, review and approve monthly financial reports to ensure chargeback to the right cost centres.
Working with PMO Lead to ensure resourcing is available to support work delivery.
Stakeholder management within business groups.
Able to communicate effectively with the technical teams in various roles (developers, testers, etc).
Effective management of project funding ensuring effective and efficient use of funds.
People management of team members.

About You: Minimum of 5 years experience in software delivery.
Delivered projects or project portfolios in the range of $1m-$5m per annum.
Experience running Agile Teams.
Ability to deliver projects directly or manage a small group of project managers where workload expands.
Experience in or understanding of SDLC and Dev Ops processes.
Leadership orientated - understands how to motivate and build a high-performance team.
Can demonstrate a collaborative mindset and team-first approach.
Ability to balance the need to define and use processes versus delivery outcomes.
Previous people management experience.
Strong technical and business domain knowledge ideally in Field Service Management and Work Order management.
Prior experience working in Telecommunication, Gas, Electricity and Water Utilities industry domains is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Agile processes, in a software development environment.
Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Strong business/client engagement skills.
Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point; Visio; relevant business analysis tool(s).
Knowledge of systems such as Service-now, Oracle Field Solutions is highly desirable.
