Your Role The Delivery Manager has accountability for the technical delivery of the reimagine squad which includes 1:1 comms, offer orchestration and custom campaign products, and the engagement and wellbeing of the people and technical teams that make delivery possible.
The key areas of accountability in the role are: Leadership: Coach and manage the performance and career development of a senior business analyst.
As well as lead a squad to deliver on a transformative project within the business.
Lead team members to apply agile and lean software engineering practices to achieve measurable improvements in outcome accomplishment.
Create high-performance teams that demonstrate ownership, teamwork, learning and continual improvement.
Engagement: In partnership with the Head of Personalization & Engagement and the Product Owner(s), define team objectives such that all people understand how their efforts contribute to attainment of the organisation's strategy and objectives.
Establish and maintain a culture of clarity with autonomy such that all people understand role expectations and feel inspired and supported to sustainably reach professional and organisational goals.
Delivery, Customer and Speed-to-Market: Deliver a roadmap of initiatives, in conjunction with the product owner(s) that enable features for customers.
Confirming prioritisation, plans and progress are well understood by stakeholders and aligned through OKRs.
Uplift the engineering and delivery competencies to significantly improve speed-to-market and momentum.
Align to chapter defined practices, governance defined processes and architecture defined Technology strategy.
Stakeholder Management: In partnership with the Head of Personalization & Engagement, work with the relevant Product Owner(s) to influence product roadmaps and ensure that a combined product and technology roadmap is delivered, with plans and progress well understood by stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, and integration teams to ensure delivery is smooth and customer centric.
Technical and Operational Excellence: Lead, grow, and manage teams to deliver and support high-quality solutions that meet or exceed system health metrics including security, performance, and quality metrics.
Manage budgets and commercials and 3rd parties such that Finance report that obligations are completed on time.
Knowledge Sharing and Subject Matter Expertise: Stay across changes in the campaign industry or relevant professions such that colleagues feedback they are learning and enthused by you.
Provides thought leadership respect to Delivery as seen by the innovations and improvements you bring.
Your Experience Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, Information Technology and/or or equivalent industry experience.
Working knowledge of information technology and technology trends and issues.
Sound knowledge of how information and technology contribute to business performance.
Experience in leading a transformative squad Excellent knowledge/experience in the application of agile and lean approaches.
Experience in program management or project management, with the ability to manage several initiatives concurrently.
Demonstrated team leadership capabilities including the ability to foster productive team dynamics, engage and enable teams and coach for performance.
Strong stakeholder management, planning, organisation, decision making and time management skills.
High level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead others successfully through cultural, process, system, and transformational change.
Experience in partnering with Product teams to influence the direction of respective products, experience in the campaign and offers space well regarded.
