About The Role
This role will be responsible for facilitating key meetings, including Pre-Demand Reviews, new product forecast reviews, and monthly S&OP meetings, while also maintaining customer forecasts in their planning systems. They will play a crucial role in improving forecast collaboration with major customers, communicating critical intelligence to supply planners, and managing forecast changes. Additionally, they oversee the administration of forecasting systems, ensuring data accuracy, system updates, and process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
Facilitate key meetings, including Pre-Demand Reviews, new product forecasts, and Demand Reviews.
Participate in monthly S&OP meetings across different regions.
Maintain and update customer forecasts and planning systems.
Enhance collaboration with major customers and communicate critical insights to supply planners.
Chair monthly S&OP meetings with key customers and address forecast changes with the replenishment team.
Educate the business and end users on forecasting processes.
Administer the forecasting system, including database management, software upgrades, and user training.
Recommend and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and participate in special projects.
Skills and Expertise
2-3 years of experience in a Demand Planning role.
Proficient in Forecast Pro or similar systems, and Pronto or similar ERP systems (MRP module).
Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, especially for S&OP recommendations.
Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis, with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Exposure to Power BI and Cognos, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
A team player with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
