About this opportunity Yarra Trams requires the services of an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced people leader to join our Depot team. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced people leader to join our Lines Function and make a significant impact on the performance of our drivers. This role is critical in transforming the way we manage our people and will involve the management of a team of Drivers from our depot's. Reporting to the Manager, Lines, the role involves: Embedding a customer service culture where all direct reports think like a passenger; Monitoring, analysing and taking action on customer related incidents; Building and maintaining an effective manager-employee relationship; Fostering a zero harm culture with safety at front of mind for all employees; Providing ongoing coaching, feedback and support to the drivers; About you Ideally you will have: Proven experience of influencing behaviour and delivering through others; Proven track record of line management experience in a transport or other customer service environment; An understanding of the principles of continuous improvement; Knowledge and understanding of Workcover procedures and legislation; A strong ability to effectively manage, coach, develop and motivate staff; Strong investigative, auditing and report writing skills; A current Victorian Driver's licence.
