Role Overview Reporting to the General Manager Asset Services, the Deputy General Manager Asset Operations and Response will oversee efficient and effective operation of all field assets to meet defined levels of performance.
Additionally, you will ensure delivery of modern, responsive, and customer-focused services and solutions relating to infrastructure and customers.
With a focus on operational excellence, compliance, and environmental stewardship, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve extraordinary results for the business and community.
You will take a multi-faceted view of what excellence looks like, with technology, process refinement, and workforce planning all being part of your strategy for achieving operational excellence.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will be a proven people leader with the firm belief that humans are at the heart of solutions for how we run our network and customer operations.
You will have a fundamental understanding of resilience planning, risk management and mitigation, as well as an appreciation for how water and sewer networks work.
With exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will be an effective advocate for continuous improvement and adaptation, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to ensure we continue to push the boundaries on service excellence while supporting our people, assets, customers, and communities to be more resilient to the impacts of climate change and other risks.
With experience in a Utilities business or aligned sector, your expertise in managing dynamic and complex portfolios of work will enable you to drive success in this role.
