Dietitian – Grade 2: Full time, Fixed term role for 12 months, ending 21/12/2025 Excellent employee benefits including salary packaging Ongoing training and development opportunities, including clinical supervision Hub of medical precinct in Parkville, Melbourne The Role: This is a Full time, Fixed term role for 12 months within the Nutrition and Food Services department.
You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality nutritional care to paediatric patients and their families within the inpatient and outpatient setting.
The clinical units will include oncology, adolescents and short stay/emergency units and other specialties as required.
It will also include rotation on the weekend on-call roster.
What you'll achieve: Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient care is integrated and effective Provide nutritional care to paediatric patients (inpatients and outpatients settings) and nutritional support across a variety of specialist/medical units Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including food service and formula room staff, to ensure patient and ward needs are addressed effectively Classification for this position with range from AJ1 – AJ4 Grade 2 Year 1 to Grade 2 Year 4 ($92,627 to $104,811) Your skills and experience: Eligibility for full Membership of Dietitians Australia Eligibility for the Accredited Practising Dietitian Program Minimum postgraduate degree Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent If this sounds like you, click here to view the position description.
About Nutrition and Food Services: The Department of Nutrition and Food Services at The Royal Children's Hospital incorporates the clinical dietetic service, the Main Kitchen that caters for inpatient meals and the Central Formula Room that produces formula, enteral feeds and fortifies expressed breast milk to meet the nutritional needs of patients.
