About the Opportunity The Digital Automation Test Engineer's role is to support the Testing and Quality Assurance Practice in the testing of RACV digital applications.
Within the Quality and Automation frameworks, the Digital Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for development and maintenance of the RACV digital automation capability, through participating in test planning including test analysis, test case development, programming and development of automation test scripts, test execution across multiple platforms and devices and contribute to reviews post deployment.
In addition, the Automation Test Engineer is responsible for developing automation capability across testing in reporting, CICD integration and event triggers, and integration of the testing process integration with agile lifecycle management tools (i.e.
Jira). You will pair with the offshore, onsite development, and quality engineering team to support RACV Digital experiences delivery with automation.

Developing functional and end to end test automation scripts to standard in the relevant testing tools/framework, which ensures cross-browser and cross-device testing validation, execution and reporting on results for current and future systems.
Leading and assisting in the maintenance of the RACV digital automation framework for Web and/or App.
Developing visual test automation solutions for UI designs & components and ensure consistent appearances.
Ensuring applications developed are as per the RACV quality standards and guidelines.
Identifying and automating test cases in the relevant testing tools/framework for regression and progression testing for the RACV website, self-service portal and Mobile Apps.
Identifying, analysing and proposing solutions for testing dependencies, risks and issues.
Undertaking defect management activities, including managing known issues, blockers and deferred defects.
Assisting in test deliverable creation such as input into test strategies and automation testing practices, production of test plans, and test summary reports.
Supporting Release planning and Project activities, including resource planning, writing test cases, providing estimates of testing effort defining testing tool use and software licensing.
Participating in the entire application development lifecycle, focusing on quality, accessibility, and overall user experience.
Tracking and prioritising problem tickets as part of release planning and log defects during test execution cycles.
Working with external vendors to ensure transparency of test plans, quality, estimates and progress reporting.
Who we're looking for and what you'll bring Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything.
You'll come with: Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Mathematics, Computer Systems.
Minimum 3 years of automation engineer quality / testing experience.
Agile Test framework experience.
Experience on Adobe experience manager, Adobe Analytics Manager and Salesforce Communities.
Experience in Java, Groovy, Java Script, Python etc.
Selenium Web Driver, Protractor, Puppeteer, Robot Framework, Web Driver.io.
Behaviour driven development frameworks - Cucumber or Jeb Spock.
Building and executing automated test scripts.
Native Mobile App & Visual testing.
Visual automation tools.
Postman (API testing).
Additional qualifications: ITIL, Agile Delivery Method, Waterfall Delivery Method, Cloud Engineering (Microsoft or Amazon), Dev Ops certification.
