Now, we're looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing efforts as we work towards realising our vision and mission.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in a Digital Marketing Manager role, ideally with experience growing a Saa S or subscription business or with a strong digital marketing pedigree.
You will be responsible for owning and growing digital marketing channels, providing communications, branding, and design strategy support for the entire business while also being able to answer questions like, "What is our monthly Cool+ subscriber retention? And how can we improve it? How do we hit sales targets? How do we increase our community engagement?" Your experience should equip you to manage multiple team members across various marketing channels simultaneously.

Align Priorities for Success: Oversee the marketing team's daily output and ensure all activity is aligned with Cool.org's monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing KPIs.
Foster a Happy Team: Forge great relationships with your direct reports, external agencies, and freelancers to create a fun and engaging work environment.
Grow Cool+ Subscriber Revenue: Drive the continued growth of Cool.org's 'Cool+' subscription offering.
With over 2,000 subscribers to date, we have ambitious targets for this channel.
Own Reporting: Be the 'go-to' person for insights into Cool.org's marketing efforts, subscriber growth and website performance.
Have a great understanding of Google Analytics and other reporting tools, and show a dedication to working with 'the facts', not just your gut.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives across your team and the organisation.
Responsibilities Work alongside our organisation's top-notch crew of team leaders across Education, Tech, New Business and Fundraising to forge great relationships, understanding that you will have a huge amount of support to achieve your goals.
Set and deliver monthly/quarterly/annual KPIs and tactics to generate growth.
Develop and execute Cool.org's marketing channel strategy (email, social media, SEO, paid marketing, partnerships).
Be accountable for the Cool.org and Cool+ marketing calendar, ensuring great visibility and consistency across our owned channels for our organisation's efforts.
Support the marketing team to manage the delivery of contracted marketing deliverables for partners.
Oversee and manage our Google Ads Grant agency and Meta Ads strategies as needed.
Manage email automation (e.g., onboarding sequences) and general marketing email comms alongside the marketing team.
As we are a small organisation, you will be needed 'on the tools' from time to time, helping with copywriting and other bits and pieces as needed.
Develop and own SEO strategy, content, and execution across the organisation.
Provide regular reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for various stakeholders, including the Board.
Monitor key metrics: website visits, sign-ups, downloads, Cool+ sales, churn and more, being the tech team's eyes and ears for user behaviour.
Provide communications support (proofreading and copywriting) for emails, landing pages, and social media.
Build landing pages and offer ad hoc strategic support (grants, partnerships, pitches) to the wider team.
Support organisational-wide communications, including Linked In posts, conference flyers, and event materials as needed.
KPIs Educator Community Growth: Measure and grow the community of educators using Cool.org resources, both in Australia and Internationally.
Cool+ Subscriber and Revenue Growth: Grow Cool.org's Cool+ subscription revenue base, focusing on acquisition and retention.
Brand growth: Build Cool.org's brand profile; we want to be Australia's leading education resource provider.
Partner Retention: Ensure the marketing team is doing all it can to provide a great experience and great value for our fee-for-service education partners.
Required skills and qualifications Five or more years of experience in a Marketing Management role.
Proven experience with managing paid digital marketing channels.
Proven experience managing organic, paid and tech/website campaigns towards a single, measurable result.
Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
Preferred skills and qualifications Saa S marketing experience.

Very organised and have an exceptional eye for detail.
Always available should a teammate need help or guidance.
Willing to have a laugh and not take yourself too seriously! Able to attend whole team office days (Tuesday and Wednesday) from the Melbourne office.
