Permanent full-time position 242 Exhibition Street Melbourne office location The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development and continuous improvement of the VBA's website and intranet, ensuring these platforms are user-friendly, functional, and aligned with organisational goals.
The role will involve: Setting a clear vision and strategy, prioritising features based on user feedback and market trends, and managing the product lifecycle from initial planning through to post-launch evaluation and optimisation.
Collaborating closely with UX designers, developers, content creators, and other stakeholders to enhance user experience, maintain technical performance, and ensure the website meets regulatory requirements.
Managing day-to-day content updates and leveraging analytics tools such as GA4 to ensure the website remains relevant, engaging, and a trusted resource for users.
Application of advanced technical expertise across Share Point to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
The role applies both a strategic and advanced technical proficiency to transform the VBA's digital presence into a reliable information hub.
What we are looking for: Proficient in UX principles, collaborating with designers to create user-friendly sites, working with user research, and implementing design improvements.
Experience in setting clear website and intranet development goals, aligning with organisational objectives and user needs.
Experience with day-to-day CMS updates, particularly with platforms like Squiz Matrix, Drupal, and Share Point.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions.
Tertiary qualifications in IT, Marketing or a related field; post-graduate qualifications would be highly regarded.
