The role of the Commission is to protect and enhance the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people receiving aged care.
The Commission is the national end-to-end regulator of aged care services and the primary point of contact for consumers and providers in relation to quality and safety.

The purpose of the Business Systems Section within the Digital Group is to design, develop, and maintain technology solutions that streamline and support the Commission's core business processes, operations, and objectives.
Position Duties Strategic Partnerships : Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the Commission to understand business requirements and align system development initiatives with the Commission's objectives.
Systems Design and Development : Lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions that support the Commission's core business processes.
Stakeholder Engagement : Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment between system requirements and business needs.
Project Management : Provide leadership and oversight for system development projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Continuous Improvement : Implement mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and enhancement of technology solutions.
Team Leadership and Development : Provide mentorship and support to the Business Systems' Section, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Position Eligibility Requirements (Selection Criteria): Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in systems design, development, and project management within large, complex organisations.
Proven track record of successfully leading system development initiatives.
Strong understanding of technology solutions and best practices in systems design and development.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Relevant qualifications in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field.
Position Notes: Salary offered will be between $136,307 - $161,381 per annum depending on skills and experience.
