Club Champion is the most prominent custom golf club fitting and building company in the world.
Established in 2010 with two stores in the United States (Chicago), there are now over 144 store locations worldwide, including 3 studios in Australia, 132 in the United States, 3 in the United Kingdom, and 4 in Canada.
Each studio offers golfers at least 50,000 hittable golf head and shaft combinations for trial and selection.
Club Champion offers comprehensive, Tour-level fittings driven by extremely well-trained, certified club fitters using top-tier technology.
Finally, the process is completed by fully custom building each club to exact specifications in their state-of-the-art workshops which means what gets prescribed during the fitting in the store translates to the golf course.
Club Champion expanded into Australia via its acquisition of Pure Form Golf which had been operating in Sydney & Melbourne for 7+ years.
Since the merger, they have expanded their footprint with new studios in Brisbane (2023) and opening a 2nd store in Melbourne in December.
The objective is to continue to expand across Australia into markets not currently served by Club Champion, but where significant golf exists.
The belief is that there are at least 12-15 studios across Australia possible and maybe more.
The Position Club Champion is seeking a Director of Sales, a true salesperson and leader, to run their team of master fitters (aka salespeople) who work with the customers in our stores.
Currently, there is a team of 11 fitters across the 4 stores and more to be hired as we expand.
Our geographical studio expansion, continuing revenue target per studio, gaining profitability through the pricing, and introducing new services all are being sought in the years to come.
Club Champion is looking for a sales leader that can get a solid understanding of our services, understand the sales discipline and opportunity with customers, and leverage much of the great training capabilities that have been developed, to build a world-class sales team.
This will include completion of a training program in Chicago, IL that will be required for 3-4 weeks at the beginning of employment.
This model has been developed in the United States where they currently have over 310 master fitters at over 130 stores which also includes a Club Champion University where all US fitters are required to attend for 4 weeks before selling at any studio.
