Reporting to the Executive Director – Service Delivery, this Senior Leadership role focuses on the overall strategic direction and management of the organisation's People, Culture & Inclusion team to ensure the achievement of the established MDAS strategic priorities.
This role will: Partner with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team and across all divisions within MDAS to manage core workforce activities, employee relations, recruitment, reporting and transactional services.
Drive continuous improvement in workplace capabilities, through leading workforce planning and coordination of training and development.
Promote organisational culture, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.
Key Selection Criteria: This is a preferred Aboriginal position.
Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning and achievement of strategic objectives through successful management of critical change programs.
Demonstrated ability to influence and achieve successful outcomes through effective negotiations.
Demonstrated experience in ensuring an effective people management system, policy and procedure framework for an organisation.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams at a senior level.
High level of computer literacy; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Take action to provide services that are inclusive of Aboriginal people and engage in learning about other cultures to better establish relationships and improve services.
Qualification/s: Qualifications or extensive experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Recruitment, Business, Management, Health or similar discipline.
Other Screening Requirements: A current Driver's License that allows you to drive in Australia.
A current Employee Working with Children Check card.
A current National Police Check.
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate & Booster information or a valid medical exemption.
