About the Role Mac Killop Specialist School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Generalist Teacher to join our team at our Caulfield Campus.
As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services that bring positive educational experiences for students who have experienced trauma, placement breakdowns, and/or challenges to school engagement.
Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver highly effective and engaging learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students and meet the requirements of the Victorian Curriculum.
Design and deliver learning programs that meet the needs of all students, including classroom teaching and 1:1 intensive student support as required.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve the quality of programs and enhance student outcomes.
Develop positive relationships with students, parents, caregivers, staff, and external agencies.
Requirements A four-year teaching qualification or equivalent and eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
Demonstrated understanding of and experience in implementing highly aspirational initiatives in student learning, informed by the Victorian Curriculum.
Experience in the design, delivery, and assessment of programs that cater for the diverse and complex needs of individual learners, and engage students who have a range of learning difficulties and challenging behaviors.
Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues to improve the quality of programs and enhance student outcomes.
Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills and high-level interpersonal skills.
