Draftsperson / Document Controller

Promech Mechanical Services – Dandenong VIC Promech Mechanical Services is a Mechanical Services Contracting firm that specializes in delivering Mechanical Services (HVAC) for commercial building and construction projects throughout Victoria.
We are seeking a new mechanical draftsperson to join our team of engineering staff and assist in presenting complete and detailed construction issued documentation to our clients.
You'll be joining a small and dynamic office team, with support from the Director and Professional Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
You'll be expected to take on a high level of responsibility, in both your work output and personal development.
Your role: Preparation of detailed shop drawings for projects that include air conditioning, VRV/VRF systems, mechanical ventilation, heating hot water and chilled water systems, etc.
Submissions and revisions in the approval process of construction issued documentation.
Preparation of as-built drawings for submission at the completion of the projects.
Generation of Safety Packs, SWMS Documents, and Site Work Packages for installers.
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate experience in the Mechanical Services industry.
All applicants must be proficient with CAD/REVIT, with all drawings being completed in AUTOCAD or REVIT.
Experience with HVAC projects in the building industry will be an advantage; however, recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
The position is a full-time, in-house position, located in Dandenong South.
Remuneration will be discussed and negotiated based on the level of experience in the industry.
