The Melbourne Clinic (TMC) is seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a co-ordinator of TMC's Eating Disorder Program.
Our eating disorder program treats clients with a range of eating disorders via dedicated inpatient and outpatient programs.
The co-ordinator will work with allied health, nursing and medical staff to implement a high-quality evidence-based therapy program.
This is an ongoing permanent part-time role (0.6 EFT) with EFT and days negotiable.
As the EDP Coordinator your responsibilities will include: Grade 3 Appointment Co-ordination responsibilities for the inpatient therapy program (up to 21 dedicated beds) and the outpatient day program.
Organisation of group time-tables and staff scheduling for the program.
Conduct evidence-based therapy groups for clients in the program.
Contribute to the general inpatient program with the TMC inpatient co-ordinators, Discipline Heads of Department (Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Outreach, and Addictions), Allied Health Manager, Director of Allied Health, and Director of Nursing.
Develop, complete and facilitate quality improvement projects in the eating disorders program.
Supervision of Grade 2 psychologists and clinical psychology registrars as required and supervision of provisional psychology students undertaking placement.
Grade 4 Appointment As above for Grade 3 appointment, and Supervision of Grade 3 psychologists and clinical psychology registrars as required and supervision of provisional psychology students undertaking placement.
Capacity to facilitate relevant clinical research projects, and form links with tertiary research and clinical training institutions.
Form part of the TMC clinical senior leadership team, and undertake staff development activities.
Minimum Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
Experience working with eating disorders.
Specialist training/credentialing in Eating Disorders (preferred).
Grade 3 appointment: Four years + experience as a psychologist.
Grade 4 appointment: Eight years + experience as a psychologist.
Grade 3 experience as a supervisor (preferred); Grade 4 experience as a supervisor (essential).
Well-developed leadership and communication skills.
Experience with group therapy (preferred).
Commitment to upholding high standards of ethical practice.
Current Working with Children Check.
All staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and Influenza and are required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status.

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant experience factored against the upcoming Enterprise Agreement the Healthscope – Victoria – Psychologists and Dietitians Agreement 2023-2026 (salaries range between $58.54 and $77.27 per hour), which is exclusive of both higher qualifications and superannuation.
