The Education Support Coordinator will lead/work collaboratively with the Education Support team in
supporting children experiencing difficulty in learning, providing access to the curriculum by supporting
their classroom learning.
The Education Support Coordinator will work with classroom teachers to develop within students,
strategies and skills necessary to foster learning, independence and confidence, to facilitate ongoing
progress and the attainment of optimal educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Modelling of College Christian faith and values.
Supporting staff in the documentation ofthe student classroom adjustments and maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress, and provide regular communication and reports to teachers.
Supporting the implementation of the college operations and policies related to student wellbeing and behaviour.
Promote an inclusive educational environment that provides additional support for individual
students and their learning needs.
Support of ES trainees and liaising with RTOs in relations to course.
Maintaining accurate work records for trainees and liaising with training organisation staff.
Administer diagnostic assessments (formal and informal) in identifying students with learning
difficulties and measuring individual progress.
Take an active and advisory role in the delivery of all annual Nationally Consistent, Collection of Data
(NCCD) requirements, responsibilities and accountabilities.

Minimum Qualifications
Recognised teaching qualification or qualifications and experience in special education
Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
Eligible to work in Australia
