Employee Relations Specialist/HR Business Partner - Aged Care Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time $120 K – $125 K + Super + salary packaging Join an innovative and highly recognised brand within the Health services sector and work with a successful team of HR professionals that provide a broad range of people strategies and support to internal stakeholders.
The Role: Reporting to the Head of People & Culture and part of a wider HR Team you will be responsible for providing expert human resource advice and support across a range of areas, such as performance management, employee relations, industrial relations, legislative compliance, workforce planning, policy/procedure and EA interpretation.
The ER/HR BP may be required to travel to residential aged care homes within a designated region, therefore we are seeking a candidate that has flexibility and willingness to be on the road as required.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with Senior Managers and take accountability for the effective delivery of people strategies.
Provide advice and support with respect to the IR/ER environment including identifying and escalating OH&S issues.
Provide sound advice and support to managers and staff in relation to employee relations matters, EBA's, policy, procedure and relevant legislation interpretation.
Liaise and influence staff, employee representatives, union officials, and other stakeholders with the purpose of achieving demonstrable outcomes.
Work closely with site Managers and key staff on workforce planning and roster management.
Key Requirements for this Role: Experience partnering with leaders to provide suitable HR advice on the full employee lifecycle, across multiple sites.
Demonstrated experience in end to end workplace relations, case management and union negotiations.
Experience working in a fast paced environment with shift work in a heavily regulated healthcare/aged care and/or disability sectors.
Ability to interpret and negotiate complex Healthcare & Nursing EBA's and awards.
Strong reporting and analytical skills.
