Job Title: Employer Engagement Lead Location: Birmingham Salary: £20,053 - £21,268 per annum (pro rata of £37099 - £39,347) - SS6 Job type: Part-Time, 20 hours per week, 2-year fixed term contract.
The Role: University College Birmingham is currently seeking a highly motivated Employer Engagement Lead to join our professional team.
This role will support the delivery of the new Higher-Level Skills Match (HLSM) Plus project, funded by the Birmingham Enterprise Zone via Birmingham City Council, assisting local companies in recruiting and retaining local graduates to sustain economic growth.
As part of a multi-institutional team, the Employer Engagement Lead will work with businesses of all sizes, primarily in the Birmingham Enterprise Zone, to identify the skills needed for business growth and source graduate level vacancies.
Collaboration with the Student Engagement Lead is essential to match graduates to job vacancies and track job retention and progression.
Minimum Requirements: You will be educated to at least minimum level 3 or equivalent and have experience in business support, employer engagement, or business development within a professional setting.
Experience in organizing employer events, B2 B relationship management, and maintaining effective links with employers is required.
A good understanding of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010 is essential, along with experience ensuring equal treatment for those with protected characteristics.
You will be based at the City Centre Campus in Birmingham and may need to travel to other locations as required.
