The role The purpose of the Engagement Officer is to provide engagement and administration support to South East Water's Project Engagement Team for the delivery of Capital Works projects.
Reporting into the Engagement Manager, you will also provide engagement and administrative support for the wider objectives of the Resilient Communities Branch and liaise with customers and other parts of the business.
This fixed term role (ending in December 2025) will support the delivery of engagement for our capital works projects for the Reliability, Growth and Resource Recovery programs.
It provides project administration support to ensure relevant engagement activities and details are captured into appropriate systems.
The role requires good attention to detail to ensure that all information is recorded accurately.
In addition, it will provide engagement support through the management of web content and digital notifications providing an emphasis on collaborative engagement, ensuring that all aspects of service delivery are customer and community centred.
The Engagement Officer will liaise with contractors, project teams, customers, the wider Resilient Communities Branch and other parts of the business, critical to the delivery of capital projects.
Who are you? Although a tertiary qualification in a related field is preferred, as is an IAP Certificate in Engagement, it is not essential and candidates with relevant experience in administration will be considered.
The following knowledge, skills and experience will ensure your success in the role: Knowledge of the International Association for Public Participation's (IAP2) model of community engagement, including the Public Participation Spectrum Sound knowledge and skill in the utilisation of Salesforce and Share Point.
Experience in using Adobe In Design and Experience Manager Strong computer literacy, using Office based products (Word, Excel and Power Point).
High level of written communication skills, particularly relating to writing and presenting information to a variety of audiences.
Excellent verbal communication skills, particularly relating to communicating complex information simply and clearly to a variety of audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
Ability to manage projects within allocated timeframe and manage competing priorities.

We're accepting applications for this exciting opportunity until Sunday 22 September 2024! This role is remunerated at a Level 3, which ranges from $91,691 through to $103,686 + super.
