The Position We invite applications from inspired and proactive English Teachers for 2025.
Reporting to the Head of English, the successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality instruction in English to students in Years 7-12.
Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content is essential, as is understanding the individual learning needs of students and developing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
A strong background in teaching English, and related subjects.
Experience in teaching VCE English is desirable but not essential.
Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our commitment to our students to ensure they have a well-rounded school experience encompassing curriculum, co-curricular and pastoral care in addition to participating in our sporting program through coaching and managing sport teams.
