This position focuses on aligning technology solutions with the bank's business strategy and objectives.
The CBM (Central Bank of Money) Enterprise Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize existing systems, integrate payment services, enhance EFTPOS (Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale) devices, and detect and prevent fraud.
Responsibilities: Strategic IT Roadmap: Develop and implement a strategic IT roadmap that aligns with the organization's business objectives.
Analyze the enterprise architecture, including business, information, data, application, and technology components.
System Design and Integration: Design and analyze solutions for integrating payment services, ensuring scheme compliance, and supporting multi-currency acquiring.
Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and upgrades.
Architect solutions for integrating EFTPOS devices with the bank's systems.
Address compatibility, security, and performance considerations.
Work closely with security teams to implement fraud detection mechanisms.
Leverage machine learning models, rule-based systems, and anomaly detection to identify suspicious activities.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, managerial personnel, and technical teams to create and maintain an efficient IT infrastructure.
Provide guidance on policies, guidelines, and best practices.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 8+ years) as an enterprise architect within a banking or financial services environment.
Strong knowledge of payment protocols (ISO 8583, NDC, etc.) and industry trends.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and microservices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
