Eoi - Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Cloud Security and Dev Ops professionals to join leading defence projects in Melbourne and Adelaide.
This critical role involves developing and enhancing secure software environments, including managing platforms in both Azure Cloud and classified networks.
Key Responsibilities: Create and update secure Software Factory tools to support efficient software development in highly regulated environments.
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, Vnets, NSGs, and cost management within Azure.
Develop automation scripts using ARM templates, Bash, Power Shell, Ansible, etc., to streamline security processes and platform management.
Implement and manage Kubernetes environments and software package management systems like Docker/Podman, Nu Get, and pip.
Utilize Active Directory and Keycloak for identity management and role-based access control (RBAC).
Deploy and configure essential tools like Git Lab, Artifactory/Xray, and code quality management systems such as Sonar Qube.
Manage and maintain Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL, within both open and restricted network environments.
Desired Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration, with relevant certifications or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and technologies, particularly in Azure.
Familiarity with VMware ecosystems and managing platforms.
Experience in highly regulated industries, especially within the defence sector, is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Security Clearance: While security clearance is not mandatory, it is highly desirable.
