About the role We're seeking an ERP Finance & Procurement Platform Specialist to provide functional application, process, and configuration support for finance and procurement within Workday.
You'll drive the ERP roadmap and strategy, leveraging your expertise to help Transurban achieve its strategic goals.
As part of a dedicated team, you'll ensure our platforms are optimised, empowering the way we work.
In this role, you'll contribute to meaningful, challenging, and exciting work that shapes the future of our cities and communities.
Day-to-day, you will: Act as the main interface between ERP support team and functional areas Represent the functional teams in designing and implementing improved or new functionality Support the optimisation of our platform through strong working relationships with business stakeholders, Product Owners, vendors, and by keeping up to date with industry learnings and best practice Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and upskill on Workday and associated third-party systems Manage vendor release activities Own end-to-end functionality and manage all ERP configuration changes Partner with application management services (AMS) to govern system configuration changes and support critical business processes Serve as an escalation point for user queries and share specialist knowledge This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Strong functional and technical expertise in ERP systems, particularly Workday In-depth knowledge of financial and procurement processes Experience in implementing ERP roadmaps and strategies Proficiency in working within an agile delivery framework Ability to collaborate effectively with ERP teams, product owners, and vendors Continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm for upskilling Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience in managing and governing system configuration changes Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests Commitment to ensuring compliance and operational excellence Tertiary qualifications and/or industry certification desired (e.g., Workday Financial Management and/or Workday Procurement) If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
