We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and experienced ESG Analyst to join our Environment and Sustainability team.
The purpose of this role is to take APAC's sustainability reporting capability to the next level and to continue to deliver quality insight and solutions to the business.
The role will provide insightful information to investors and other stakeholders.
The ESG Analyst supports ESG data collation and analysis, reporting, project coordination and delivery of Melbourne Airport's strategic objectives within the business.

Key responsibilities: Set up reporting ESG reporting requirement across the business both internally and externally.
Coordinate, audit and report APAM's sustainability performance data for ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Support Head of Finance Control and Reporting on any mandatory financial disclosure that requires ESG inputs.
Analyse sustainability data to identify and communicate trends and innovations.
Review and analyse the reporting of energy and water usage, climate risk, environmental assessment, asset/facilities, and financial data to inform organisational KPIs and Scorecards.
Collaborate with the digital team to enhance and develop data collection and reporting systems to drive performance.
Assist in a review of carbon, waste, energy, water, social data to ensure data integrity.
Work collaboratively with the stakeholders to support improvements and streamlining of reporting.
Collaborate with projects and business unit on ESG metrics.
Support projects in understanding, delivery and reporting requirements for ESG metrics.
Reporting of ESG metrics aggregating data to set and track progress against APAM KPIs and targets.
Uphold and support project team adherence to minimum standards and sustainability processes.
Provide advice to project teams relating to sustainability performance and initiatives and assist teams in delivering sustainability outcomes as needed.
Maintain a customer-centric approach to sustainability through the provision of value-add sustainability advice to the business.
Promote sustainability awareness initiatives across the business.
The successful candidate will have: Experience in implementation of digital reporting system.
Solid understanding of environmental sustainability issues related to infrastructure or asset management.
3-5 years' experience.
Experience in internal corporate sustainability role desired.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Effective communication, project management and presentation abilities.
Ability to engage stakeholders and convey sustainability concepts.
Experience with sustainability frameworks, certifications, and standards, such as GHG Protocol, GRI, ISSB, TCFD, and SDGs desired.
Degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field.
