We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in event planning, budgeting, venue coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration, bringing creativity and initiative to every project. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our events, from initial concept to final execution, by working closely with teams across marketing, brand, customer service, and production.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, workshops, product launches, and corporate gatherings, ensuring all aspects align with the company's objectives and standards.
Budget Management: Develop, manage, and oversee event budgets, ensuring all events are delivered on time and within budget. Regularly report on financial performance and adjust plans as necessary.
Venue Coordination: Source, evaluate, and secure appropriate venues for events. Negotiate contracts, manage relationships with venue representatives, and ensure all logistical aspects are handled efficiently.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, brand, customer service, and production teams to ensure all event elements are cohesive and support the overall company strategy. Coordinate promotional activities and post-event follow-ups with these departments.
Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, including AV, catering, and décor, ensuring quality service and best value for money.
On-Site Management: Oversee event set-up, execution, and breakdown. Manage event staff, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and ensure all aspects run smoothly.
Virtual Event Coordination: Collaborate with the in-house studio team to plan and execute virtual events. Ensure in-house studio is set up and provide support for virtual event platforms.
Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations, including feedback collection, data analysis, and reporting. Provide recommendations for future improvements.
Creative Problem Solving: Use initiative to address and resolve any issues that arise during the planning and execution of events, ensuring seamless delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. Not required but preferred.
Proven experience in event management, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
Excellent budgeting and financial management skills.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills, particularly with venues and vendors.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours as required by events. Up to 10 days travel max per month for interstate and international events as required.
