Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of Victorian Government policies, strategies and regulations for outdoor recreation Support robust governance for outdoor recreation entities and programs including hunting, boating and fishing Senior Executive Service Level 2 (SES-2), Fixed Term up to Three (3) Years The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) is seeking to appoint an Executive Director, Outdoor Recreation to lead the Department's development and implementation of Victorian Government policies and strategies relating to outdoor recreation in Victoria.
As a member of the Sport and Experience Economy Group executive team, the Executive Director will lead a high-performing team to develop and implement strategies, policies and regulations that drive positive outcomes for the outdoor recreation portfolio.
The position involves building strong collaborative partnerships and influential relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective governance for outdoor recreation entities.
The Executive Director provides expert advice to ministers, the Secretary and senior stakeholders across government.
