About this role We are recruiting for a variety of roles within the Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) and are seeking Aboriginal people who are committed to making a difference. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving applications for financial assistance, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and supporting Aboriginal victims of crime. Other responsibilities include ensuring applications are ready for assessment, providing culturally appropriate advice and support, and engaging directly with individuals and their support networks. The opportunities There are currently various opportunities with the FAS for work in Aboriginal Prioritised/Designated roles, including: Aboriginal Assessor Aboriginal Intake & Triage Officer You are encouraged to register your interest if you identify as Aboriginal and have: relevant skills and experience demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal Community, both society and culture, and the issues impacting on it demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal Community You will be required to upload your current resume and a short cover letter.
