Utilising this knowledge and experience Thales Australia will deliver a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (One SKY) in Australia to Airservices Australia and Defence.
This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes.

Your role Due to potential upcoming work, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for Air Traffic Control Instructors.
As an Air Traffic Control Instructor on the One SKY operational training team, you will provide specialist operational training analysis, curriculum design, training product development and training delivery for the One SKY program.
Some key accountabilities include Conducting assessments on future required training (i.e.
Training Needs Analysis) Developing the course curriculum and training materials (including practical simulation exercises) to satisfy the outcome of these assessments Delivering ATC systems training (including pseudo-pilot functions) Managing exercise environments Conducting training evaluations and reviews Providing ATC systems training advice to the One SKY program Working to budget, quality and schedule requirements On day one you will come with experience in: Prior experience delivering ATC-related training.
Prior experience in developing aviation simulation exercises for use in a formal training environment.
Prior experience in configuring and operating aviation simulation systems and interacting with simulation datasets.
Prior experience working within an Airservices Australia/Defence environment, with operational ATC rating/endorsement experience within Tower/Approach and/or Approach/Enroute Control.
Intermediate level skills in MS Office Suite of Tools, especially Excel and Power Point.
