Having a long-standing presence in the region, we have partnered with leading employers who are now seeking experienced Executive Assistants looking for contractor permanent roles and a fresh challenge in their career.
The successful candidates will have experience in providing essential support and expertise across various key areas, including governance, risk management, and executive operations, including support for Board Meetings and collation and distribution of Board Papers.
Key responsibilities include: Provide a range of confidential, high-level executive support functions including, but not limited to, diary management, meeting coordination, and management of correspondence.
Supporting the CEO in the preparation and coordination of Board Meetings - recording and distributing Minutes, Agendas, Reports, Committee Reports, and other documentation.
Provide accurate advice and information to the Executive leadership team with expectations, and consistent with policy and program directions.
Work autonomously to deliver work in support of the organisation, the Board, and the CEO, with integrity and resilience and a proven ability to build trust through consistent actions, values, and communication.
Lead projects, investigations, and research on behalf of the Executive Leadership Team such as interpretation of Acts/Awards, Insurances, Leases, or other policies/agreements.
Utilise well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills and experience to respond to complex, confidential, and sensitive matters with a high level of tact and judgement.
Actively participate in and encourage others to support a positive organisational culture and business performance.
Tertiary qualification preferable or experience related to Governance, Law, or Business Management and/or several years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to monitor legislation, undertake research, interpret legislation and regulations, and prepare advice and recommendations for action.
Experience in managing issues and negotiating successful outcomes in a political environment.
Preparing and writing comprehensive board papers.
