We are proudly part of Japan Post — Facilities Maintenance Coordinator – Laverton North VIC Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.
We provide specialised integrated logistics services to customers in a range of industries including mining, chemical, gases, steel and plastics, petroleum, energy and Australian oil and gas industries and agriculture.

The Role – We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Maintenance Management Coordinator.
You will be joining a niche market of a 3 PL Major Hazard Facility.
This role will be directly responsible for regularly inspecting facilities to determine problems and necessary maintenance, preparing weekly maintenance schedules and managing required works and following up required works via relevant providers / contractors to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
Ensuring that all employees / contractors adhere to operational procedures whilst maintaining a positive safety culture is of critical importance to this role.
The role will have overall responsibility for the handling, management, inspection and maintenance of the facility in general as well as Toll and 3rd Party equipment used to support logistics operations, and upholding high standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both people and processes effectively.
This is a role where leadership, customer excellence and operational efficiency all come together, and you will need to drive high standards whilst ensuring the site is being run safely and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities and Decisions - Ability to ensure compliance to applicable laws, guidelines, policies, procedures and practices.
Demonstrate exemplary safety leadership behaviours and monitor and promote HSES & QA programs, to achieve a safe and incident free culture.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with key operating customers; Work Safe, DG authorities, EPA, PACIA and professional peers.
Control risks from operations to minimise / eliminate effect on people, community and environment and improve / implement site rules and ensure adherence and hold employees accountable for non-conformance.
Assist in maintaining a strong audit program in line with TCL's Quality and BMS requirements.
Uphold a safe working environment by consistently adhering to established safety protocols and fostering a culture of safety awareness.
What you'll need to succeed – Experience in transport, logistics or related industry with a steadfast focus on compliance.
Exposure and knowledge relating to the regulator and Australian standards around legislation, regulations and Codes of Practice within a Major Hazard Facility.
Management and leadership Skills – Strong positive attitude with good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
