Benefits, Perks & Incentives Newly appointed, modern offices Lovely location, close to all amenities Flexible, hybrid work practices Highly charitable business Make this newly created role your own About the role You'll work directly with the CFO in a newly created position Maintenance of Xero accounting software for various business and investment entities Hands-on processing of invoices & bills, preparation of journal entries and inter-entity loan reconciliations Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial reports, monthly and quarterly business activity statements and other income tax compliance tasks Month-end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards Managing accruals, prepayments and other general journal postings Providing ad-hoc support to both the CFO and Director for a variety of other tasks and projects What you will offer An accounting degree and completion of or progression towards CA/CPA studies Ability to work on a very autonomous basis Flexible in your approach to work and able to juggle a variety of tasks Meticulous in your attention to detail and able to produce high quality work within tight deadlines Able to analyse and interpret financial data Interpersonal skills which allow you to liaise with senior stakeholders Will be a very suitable step for Accountant looking to move from business services in professional practice How to apply To apply for this role, submit your resume via the Apply Now button below.
