Salary: $110-120k + Super Location: Hybrid Working, Melbourne CBD About Our Client A dedicated not-for-profit organisation seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join the team and support their mission by ensuring the accuracy of financial operations.
Job Description Key Responsibilities of this role: Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management reports and month end.
Analysis and interpretation of monthly variances.
Monitoring of budgeted vs.
actual expenditure.
AP, AR, payroll & Bank Reconciliation processing.
Prepare and submit BAS on a timely basis.
Assist with Annual Budgeting and Forecasting process.
Prepare Annual Audit and liaise with Auditors as required.
Compliance with external reporting requirements.
Conduct Financial Analysis and provide insights on financial performance and trends.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.
The Successful Applicant About you: CA/CPA qualified or working towards this.
Demonstrated experience with complex financial reporting and analysis.
Sound knowledge of Australian accounting standards.
NFP or education experience a bonus.
Great attention to detail.
