Key Business Partner To The IT Leadership Team.
What you'll do as a Senior Financial Analyst (IT): As a Senior Financial Analyst , you will be responsible for driving the financial performance & analysis function within TGE.
Delivering timely and insightful analysis to support decision making for the various stakeholders will be a key skill.
Acting as the key business partner to the IT Leadership team and Group FP&A, this position will work with the IT Innovation & finance teams to understand business performance, support with period reporting requirements, and to participate in various projects including continuous performance related initiatives.
Responsibilities include (not limited to): Preparation of overhead corporate budgets and forecasts in a timely manner Develop methodologies that challenge the IT function to deliver optimum commercial outcomes Business partnering with Chief Innovation Officer and extended leadership team to drive cost performance Preparing and presenting monthly variance analysis to senior management, including identification of trends, risks, and opportunities Owning the labour costs modelling, including headcount reporting Managing third party IT spend Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations What are we looking for in a Senior Financial Analyst? What's important? Strong financial analytical skills Experience building/supporting business cases (cost/benefits modelling etc.) Ability to work through change in a fast-paced environment Strong systems & reporting tools experience (e.g., Oracle, TM1, Power BI etc.) Ability to grasp complex ideas and communicate them clearly & effectively Ability to identify/mitigate financial risks and drive actions/solutions accordingly Extra points for the following (not essential though): Oracle experience would be considered advantageous Why TGE?
