Fitter - Mechanical & Automation

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team and contribute to the installation and maintenance of our innovative equipment.
Our client is an industry leader in designing and implementing advanced process systems for the food, beverage, and manufacturing industries.
Job Description The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and machinery.
You will work on various projects, ensuring that all systems are installed to the highest standards and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, and maintain process systems and equipment according to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times.
Perform quality inspections to ensure proper functioning of installed equipment.
Qualifications: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).
2+ years of experience in mechanical fitting, ideally in the food and beverage or manufacturing industries.
Full Australian working rights.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
