Fleet Manager

Full-Time, 12-Month Fixed Term Contract Hybrid Work: 2 days WFH after training Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 package people2people are recruiting a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Manager to work for a State Government Department on a 12-month fixed contract.
Located in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs, offering hybrid work arrangements after training.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the administration of fleet processes, including the acquisition, leasing, and disposal of vehicles in line with policies and procedures.
Act as the primary point of contact for all fleet-related enquiries, providing exceptional customer service and expert advice on purchasing and fleet management.
Manage insurance requirements, including reporting on asset thefts, damages, and disposals.
Coordinate all fleet accident and incident claims, ensuring accurate record-keeping and processing of insurance claims.
Collaborate with external suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient provision of goods and services related to the fleet.
Develop and implement systems and processes for effective fleet management.
Support staff training on the online requisitioning system and recommend system improvements.
Requirements: Proven experience in fleet management, with a strong background in purchasing, procurement, finance, or contracts management.
Tertiary qualification in fleet management, finance, procurement, legal/contracts management, or a related business field.
Ability to manage and coordinate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Familiarity with Victorian fleet policies and experience in managing fleet compliance and insurance.
