A reputable school in Balwyn is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Tech Teacher to join our team starting at the beginning of Term 1.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Food tech lessons to students from Years 7-12, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities include planning and assessing curriculum, developing students' scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes.
Strong communication skills and a passion for education are essential.

Key Duties: Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
Uphold and integrate the school's values and teachings within the educational framework.
Skills & Experience: Completed relevant Qualifications in Education Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration Have unrestricted working rights in Australia Demonstrate previous experience as a Food Tech Teacher - Graduates are welcome to apply too Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
