Our client, a big 4 consulting firm, is seeking a detail-oriented
Tester
to join their healthcare client. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality assurance professional to play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical applications.
Role Overview
As a
Tester,
you will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring applications meet solution requirements. You will work closely with client teams and stakeholders to validate functionality and maintain the integrity of the applications through thorough testing practices.
What's In It For You
$450-500PD
Initial 6 month contract with a view to extend
Key Responsibilities
Test Plan Development: Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements, functional specifications, and detailed design documents.
Test Execution: Execute a variety of tests, including regression testing, to validate application functionality and ensure changes or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and report defects discovered during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test results, and defect logs.
Collaboration: Coordinate with client teams to support the completion of integration and user acceptance testing.
Requirements
Proven experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including regression testing.
Excellent ability to identify, document, and report defects clearly and concisely.
Experience in creating and maintaining detailed test documentation.
Strong communication skills with experience in coordinating with multiple teams to support testing efforts.
Desirable Experience
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
